Vocalist Christina Palija received her master’s from the Faculty of Music at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, taugh by professor Vesna Ginovska-Ilkova (prima donna in the Macedonian Opera and Ballet.)
Christina debuted her career at the Macedonian Opera and Ballet in the role of Micaela in George Bizet’s Carmen, conducted by German maestro Dorian Wilson. She has participated in numerous recitals and has performed with trio chamber orchestras in Macedonia, went on tour in Slovenia, Austria, Bulgaria. From 2016 onwards, at the invitation of the International Festival “Enterritmos” in Morocco, Christina as part of duo “Grazioso” with pianist Dr. Nevenka Dukovska had the honor to be the first Macedonian ensemble to perform on stage in Morocco.
Christina is extremely talented and experiences she has taken part in several national and international competitions where she has won several first prizes. She is also twice “November 8” nominee an award given the for development and promotion of culture. She is especially proud of the silver medal received in 2014 from the Macedonian Army.
